DAY 2 ~ ANNUAL MEETING
830am Annual Meeting Movie, this is a special movie made for this AGM only, Warren Buffett specially appearred on screen to remind everyone to guard everyone, no recording please, VVIPs (Buffett himself, Bill Gate, and I think saw Facebook CEO Zuckerburg "acted" in the movie. This movie is not suppose to release to public.
What a superstar AGM, 25,000 to 30,000 shareholders and friends, from all over the world, only Warren Buffett can create such :O 915am to 345pm, Q&A session, Warren Buffett & Charlie Munger answer questions on investment, economy, life, etc. A 9 year old girl stood up and asked Buffett a question, and she said 2019 is her 3rd visit to Bershire AGM.
One investor from Canada asked Buffett " at this stage of your life, what you value the most?". Buffett said " time & love". Mr Charlie Munger followed up and said "anyone is lucky to be able to spend their time doing what he/she likes to do.
Investor asked Buffett with regards to Berkshire Hathaway holdings billions of cash, Buffett replied " we still continue to do what we know, we will not put money and follow what other's said".
Buffetts's quote " Risk comes from not knowing what you are doing."
DAY 3 ~ "Invest in Yourself" 5k Fun Run & Walk
8am, after long meeting yesterday, shareholders woke up for a great jog and walk, great weather at 15 degree, around downtown Omaha, beautiful weather, buildings and town.
DAY 3 ~ Borsheims Shopping day After the run, eat and drink again, complimentary brunch for shareholders, Buffett and Bill Gates came by for Bridge games.
And the 3 days event ended beautifully. Very well orgainised event, is like whole town participated, a Uber driver even purposely detour and drove us to take a look at Warren Buffett's house. This is really an event all value investors should join in, in fact many investors fly in every year, is like a yearly gathering. Everyone (even the restaurant waitresses) will say "see you next year".
